Sunday: Listening

Listening (Hear God's Still, Small Voice Through Music): In a world saturated with noise, both external and internal, listening is a radical act of surrender. This practice involves intentionally creating space to hear God's voice, which often speaks in the quiet moments, and can be powerfully amplified through music. It's not just about hearing audible words, but discerning the gentle nudges, the intuitive insights, and the comforting reassurances God provides. 1 Kings 19:12 reminds us that God's voice is often a "gentle whisper." By listening, we acknowledge that we are not the sole source of wisdom and guidance. We recognize God's presence and invitation to a deeper relationship, fulfilling our spiritual accountability.
