Community Church of Barrington, in northwest suburban Chicago, is seeking a pianist or pianist/organist to provide instrumental music leadership for Sunday morning worship and occasional special services (Christmas Eve, Good Friday).
Applicants must have skills in music performance and familiarity with Christian worship and traditional hymnody.
The Church Musician would be responsible for choosing appropriate sacred music for the prelude, offertory, and postlude.
This position is part-time, approximately 2 hours on-site on Sundays plus personal preparation.
Compensation: $200 per week.
Position is temporary, through June 2022, with possibility of extension indefinitely.
