Edgebrook Lutheran Church (ELC) seeks part-time Community Youth Leader to engage youth, volunteers, and staff in an ecumenical youth group.
Responsibilities include:
leading ecumenical youth group meetings;
developing strategies for outreach to youth and families within Edgebrook and surrounding communities;
building trusting relationships with youth group members and serving as a youth advocate;
working with individual churches and providing oversight of youth-related ministry and events;
managing communication and administrative tasks.
Qualified candidates will have:
3-5 years of ministry or education experience, preferably in the areas of child, youth, and family ministries;
ability to serve as a role model for youth and families;
strong communication and digital technology skills;
ability to work effectively with church staff and lay leaders.
Bachelor’s degree in education, religion or social sciences required; seminary background preferred.
