1. Qualifications: Strong discipleship/mentoring skills, and passion to carry out the mission and vision of New Faith Baptist Church International.  Must demonstrate excellence in communicating Biblical truths to promote life change. Ability to lead and inspire, train and work productively with volunteers. An inspirational, effective communicator to youth, preferably with experience teaching large bible classes.  Effective administrative and creative programming skills.  Needs to be flexible with youth ministry models and open to change. Knowledgeable and able to utilize various social media platforms, particularly those relevant to youth, for programming, communication and outreach. Must have an outreach focus, able to maintain public relations, communication and collaboration with local schools, recreation centers, and other youth relevant institutions.

2. Purpose of Position: To create, maintain and develop quality creative ministries that promote youth interactions, relations, development, and spiritual growth. Develop youth programming for cultural, educational, life skills and career/ life planning. Develop, coordinate and administer dynamic ministry experiences for junior high and high school youth. Recruit, lead and coordinate  youth ministry volunteers, mentors and youth leaders. Develop effective support and outreach to college students. Provide leadership for young adult ministries, for human development and volunteer/ mentoring resource for youth ministries.

3. Responsibilities:               

a. Provide administrative oversight to planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive ministry to junior high and high school youth.  This includes youth meetings, bible studies, outreach and follow-up activities, youth mission and service experiences, youth camping/ retreats, annual youth conference, youth counseling and pastoral care.

b. Assist in the nurturing, teaching and discipling of youth leaders/small group leaders.

c. Develop, structure and coordinate various programs and activities for youth outreach and activities.

d. Partner with the Children’s ministry to assist with transitioning to junior high/ high school ministries.
