Atascocita Presbyterian Church seeks a new pastor to join our family of committed Christians in demonstrating God’s Grace and Love in our community and the world. A Pastor who can lead through Worship, Education, Mission and Fellowship to strengthen our Faith as we grow as individuals and a congregation.
APC seeks a pastor to take on the full role described in the Book of Order “G-2.0501 Minister of the Word and Sacrament Defined.”
Ministers of the Word and Sacrament (also called teaching elders and pastors) shall in all things be committed to teaching the faith in word and deed and equipping the saints for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:12).
Someone who can work alongside our membership to find our way into the future God has planned for us.
APC is home to friendly, nurturing people including a very dedicated core membership.
APC actively supports Family Promise of Lake Houston and other social services programs.
APC provides a vibrant Music Ministry and hosts a community music organization.
APC demonstrates creativity through a Liturgical Arts group and Mission Marketplace.
APC is home to the Creative Learning Center Preschool and Children’s Day Out Program.
APC has G.A.T.E (God’s Acre that Educates), an outdoor classroom and Wildlife Habitat.
APC’s facilities are well kept and utilized by members and partners alike.
