Incarnational Ethics Spring Lecture

Doctor David P. Gushee has been invited to serve as speaker of McCormick Theological Seminary’s Annual Incarnational Ethics - Spring Lecture Series. This series will take place February 5-6, 2020, on the campus of McCormick Theological Seminary located 5460 S. University/Chicago. Below is a breakdown of the activities:

Wednesday, February 5 – A Conversation with the Faculty 2:00 p.m. -2:50 p.m.
A Conversation with the Students – 4:00 p.m. -5:50 p.m.

Topic: What are the implications of Incarnational Ethics for a Seminary Student today?
This will include a reception, followed by discussion/questions from McCormick students and others within the broader Chicagoland community.

Reception: 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Conversation: 4:30 p.m. - 5:50 p.m.

Thursday, February 6 – Open Lecture: “Christian Discipleship and Moral Leadership: The Political Responsibility of Christian Churches”

Thursday's program will feature a conversation between Dr. David P. Gushee and Dr. Reggie L. Williams, including a question and answer period with students. In addition, there will be an opportunity for admirers of Dr. Gushee’s work to have copies of his latest book or any of his books signed on that evening.

Open to the public.

Book Signing: 7:00 p.m.

Lecture: 7:30 p.m. -8:50 p.m.
