The Reverend Alice A. Bijjani, 64, pastor of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Trenton, NJ, died after a long illness on November 23, 2010. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, she came to the United States as an infant.

Alice served Bethany Church since 1996 and many of her church's programs reflected her care for the needs of those in the inner city.
