Dr. Reggie Williams

Reginald W. Williams Jr., born and raised in Chicago with a deep commitment to social justice, is a pastor, scholar, and community leader dedicated to liberation theology. Holding degrees from Florida A&M, the University of Wisconsin Law School, and Virginia Union University, he served as Associate Pastor for Justice Ministries at Trinity United Church of Christ and currently pastors First Baptist Church of University Park, IL. Recognized for his advocacy and leadership with numerous awards, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Image Award, he also instructs at McCormick and Chicago Theological Seminaries, shaping future leaders in social justice ministry and prophetic preaching. He is a father of two daughters, and known for his visionary and culturally relevant approach to ministry.
